Calm Evening Prayer for Blessings and Thanksgiving

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Lord, we come before You this evening, as members of the God of Armies prayer community, to offer our humble prayers and thanksgiving. We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon us throughout the day, and for Your unfailing love and protection.

Psalm 23:6 - "Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

As we reflect on the events of the day, we pray for Your divine grace and guidance. We pray that You would calm our spirits and fill our hearts with Your peace, as we trust in Your divine plan for our lives.

Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

We pray for Your blessings upon our families, our friends, and our communities. May Your hand of protection be upon us as we navigate the challenges and uncertainties of life.

Psalm 4:8 - "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, will keep me safe."

We pray for the strength and courage to walk in Your ways, and to be a beacon of Your love and compassion to those around us.

Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

As we prepare to rest, we lay our burdens at Your feet and trust in Your unfailing love. We offer our thanksgiving and praise to You, O God, for Your mercy and grace.

Psalm 107:1 - "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."

We pray all these things in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen.
