Night prayer

Beloved of the Lord,

As the shadows stretch across the earth and the day bows before the night, I greet you—each one of you—with peace. This is Michael Chikamso, and tonight I do not just send a prayer, but I kneel with you in spirit. Whether you're in your home, your room, or in silence by your bedside—know this: heaven is near, and God sees you.

Let us pray together now, not with borrowed words, but with hearts awakened by the nearness of His presence.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Holy God of Armies,

Watcher of the night, Defender of the weary,

We come before You as children in need of Your light before we close our eyes.

Stretch out Your hand upon this community.

Let Your peace descend like dew on every soul reading this prayer.

Let those who have cried in silence today feel the nearness of Your Spirit.

To those fighting battles in the mind, the heart, or in their homes—

Be the stillness that calms their storm.

Tonight, O Lord, carry the burdens we cannot name.

Walk into our dreams with healing.

Wrap our hearts with warmth.

And speak softly to every soul that is wondering, “Will I be okay?”

Yes, you will be okay.

The Lord Himself watches over you.

To the one who has been waiting too long for a breakthrough,

To the one who feels left behind,

To the one carrying secret pain—

May the God of Armies, the One who neither sleeps nor forgets,

Visit you tonight with comfort, answers, and holy rest.

Father, I place into Your hands all who belong to this sacred family:

Juliana Oriani, faithful in fire.

Joelma de Almeida Pereira Felicio and her dear family.

Marcia Borges Tegon, light in the shadows.

Milena Borges, quiet strength and courage.

Gabriela Bessa Marconato Antunes, who carries joy in her hands.

Emmanuel Onyekachukwu Iloh, your gentle flame.

Cecilia Iloh, the silent prayer warrior.

Bless Mrs Akunna,

Lord, meet Ogechukwu Lilian, a healer led by Your breath.

Let Your hand never depart from King Victor.

Bless Stefan Quasney, standing far but never forgotten in spirit.

Bless those who serve in secret.

Bless those who give even when no one sees.

Bless those who are just holding on tonight.

And Lord, if one of us is weak—make us all strong in unity.

To all reading this prayer,

I bless you now,

With rest that heals,

With sleep that restores,

With dreams that come from God.

May angels guard your night.

And may you wake up tomorrow renewed,

ready to walk in the light of God's promises.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Good night, precious family.

You are loved, you are seen, you are not alone.

The Lord is the greatest spiritual being of all time. Amen.
