Greetings to the People of the God of Armies Prayer Community.

Joelma, A daughter of Our Lady of Fatima

The Word Comes First

“There is no rest for the soul apart from God,” said Saint Augustine — and these words remain true forever.

You may take medicine, you may lie down, but if peace has not entered your soul, sleep will not follow. And yet, when the Lord enters a person’s life, even the body responds with healing.

Today we share the story of Joelma — a woman touched by God. What no doctor could fix, what no tablet could resolve, God resolved in silence. Let this message awaken your faith: What you think you cannot stop — God can stop. What you think will never leave — God can drive away.

There is no medication more powerful than the hand of God. There is no sleep deeper than the rest God gives. The night may bring fear, but God is not afraid of the dark. He enters silently and restores what was lost. If you depend on pills to sleep, if your nights are filled with fear and your body is full of pain — this testimony is for you.

Today, we declare: Christ Jesus still heals. And He can break every form of dependence.

The Testimony of Joelma

Joelma suffered quietly. Her body was in pain every day. She described it like this:

“It feels like a tractor is crushing my bones.”

It wasn’t just physical. Her soul was tired. Every night, she had to take sleeping pills to find rest. She became dependent, and fear of not having the pills only increased her anxiety.

She believed it might never change.

But even in the midst of that suffering, Joelma never gave up on God. She followed the prayers of the community. She read the testimonies on the website. She hoped in silence.

Saint Padre Pio once said, “Pray, hope, and don’t worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.” And it was exactly in that spirit that Joelma waited.

Then one day, God acted.

She went to bed — no medicine.

And she slept.

You must not surrender to your condition.

You must not call normal what God can remove.

You must not let fear speak louder than faith.

As Saint Paul wrote:

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think… to Him be the glory.” (Ephesians 3:20)

The next night, again — no medicine.

And again, she slept.

God had entered. Peace had returned. Her body was no longer controlled by pain or pills.

She remembered the promise she once made:

“When I stop taking the sleeping medicine, I will give my testimony.”

Today, she says

:

“I no longer go to bed worried about the medicine I no longer need.

The Reflection:

Wisdom Speaks, and God Heals

When Saint Thérèse of Lisieux was dying, she said:

“I am not dying; I am entering life.”

That is the power of God — He takes what the world calls “the end” and turns it into a beginning.

Joelma was at the end of herself. But God gave her a new beginning.

Scripture says in Psalm 127:

“It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for He gives to His beloved sleep.”

He gave it to Joelma. And He can give it to you.

Saint John Chrysostom declared:

“The soul that gives itself to prayer will, even if it is full of evil, be washed clean and changed into gold.” Joelma’s healing was not only physical. Her spirit was renewed. And that’s what God wants to do for you too.

Joelma’s story is not rare — it is possible for anyone who believes.

Closing Prayer: Pray With Me

Holy and Eternal God,

You who raised the dead, who calmed the sea, who walked through locked doors — You are the same God who entered Joelma’s life without force, without noise, and brought peace. I thank You, Lord, for what You did in her.

You removed the pain. You ended the fear.

You broke the power of medication.

You gave back what the enemy stole — sleep.

Now I pray for everyone reading this:

Lord Jesus Christ,

Son of the Living God, I ask You —

Break the chains of sleeplessness.

Shut the mouth of anxiety.

Destroy every addiction to medication.

Cast out fear of the night.

In the name of Jesus,

I command peace to fall upon their bed.

Let rest return. Let the soul be still.

Let healing visit their room this very night.

You did it for Joelma.

Do it again — for this soul reading now.

Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I Trust in You.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God of Armies Prayer God of Armies, God of gods, Christ Jesus, be praised forever, you are the greatest spiritual being of all time. Amen.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come, our Lord and God. You are worthy to receive glory, honor, and power. For you created all things, and by your will, they were given existence and life. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ, the God of armies. You are worthy to take the scroll and to break open its seals. For you were killed, and by your sacrificial death, you purchased people for God from every tribe, language, nation, and race. You made them a kingdom of priests to serve our God, and they shall reign on earth. The Divine Lamb that was slain is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength, honor, glory, and praise to him who sits on the throne, and to the Divine Lamb. Be praise and honor, glory and might, forever and ever. Amen. We honor you, O God. Your power is so great.

Final Words from Michael Chikamso: A call to believe again in divine healing

Joelma once said, “I’ll never stop taking these pills.” But God said, “Watch what I will do.”

You may feel trapped. But the saints remind us:

“Even the darkest night will end, and the sun will rise.” — Saint Catherine of Siena

Don’t trust the fear. Trust the One who made you.

Jesus still heals. He still enters rooms. He still brings sleep to those who haven’t rested in years.

Your healing can begin tonight.

When you have prayed all night and still see no light, stand. When you've knocked and heard nothing, stand. The next knock might be the sound of heaven’s answer.

Now I speak to you, dear reader — this is a call to believe again.

Believe that God can change your condition.

Believe that medication is not your master.

Believe that Jesus still heals — and He wants to heal you.

This is a call to bring your fear before the altar of God and say:

“Lord, I want Your healing, not man’s substitute. I want real peace.”

You may have prayed before. Pray again.

You may have doubted before. Trust again.

You may have felt forgotten. But God has remembered you today — through this message.

Don’t just read this testimony — walk into your own.

Understanding Sleep and Healing from Dependence on Medication

Insomnia is a common condition — but relying on sleeping pills long-term can be dangerous. Medications may offer short-term relief, but when used continuously, they can lead to dependency, memory problems, anxiety, and even affect heart and liver health.

The good news is that your body was designed by God to rest naturally. With the right care, healing, and faith, many people have successfully overcome the cycle of dependence — just like Joelma.

Here are key tips to help you restore natural sleep:

1. Create a Night Routine – Go to bed at the same time each night. Turn off screens at least 1 hour before sleep.

2. Avoid Caffeine & Heavy Meals at Night – They overstimulate the nervous system and delay rest.

3. Keep Your Room Dark and Cool – A peaceful space supports melatonin release, your body’s sleep hormone.

4. Drink Calming Herbal Teas – Chamomile, valerian root, or passionflower tea can help soothe the nervous system.

5. Stay Physically Active During the Day – Movement helps balance your body’s internal clock and improves mood.

6. Pray Before Sleep – As seen in Joelma’s case, prayer can calm the heart, reduce anxiety, and invite peace.

Important Medical Note:

Do not stop sleeping pills suddenly on your own if you’ve been using them for a long time. Speak with a trusted doctor to help you reduce them safely, and accompany the process with good habits and spiritual strength.

Final Encouragement

If you’ve been dependent on medication for sleep — don’t feel ashamed. You are not alone. But your healing can begin. Let your soul return to rest. Let your body follow the rhythm God gave it. And trust that what happened for one can happen for many.

Your health is precious to Heaven — guard it with wisdom, faith, and love
