The Tempting Offer

For as long as Scott Langford could remember, he had dreamed of owning a home. A place to call his own, a symbol of all his hard work and dedication. Living with his grandmother had been a blessing, but he longed to give her a better life—to buy a house where she could spend her remaining years in comfort.

Then one evening, after weeks of searching for an affordable home, he stumbled upon a deal that seemed too good to be true.

A man named Fang Delacroix had advertised stunning houses on Facebook at incredibly low prices. The pictures were breathtaking—modern designs, spacious interiors, and lush gardens. The comments on the post were filled with people praising Fang for his honesty and generosity.

Scott reached out, and within minutes, Fang responded enthusiastically.

"You seem like a great guy, Scott," Fang said. "And I don’t usually do this, but I’ll reserve the house for you at an even better price. Just send the payment soon before someone else grabs it."

The offer was irresistible. The house was exactly what he wanted, and the price was half of what others were charging. He felt lucky—blessed, even.

But Scott was a man of prayer. He never made big decisions without asking God first. So that night, he prayed earnestly:

"Lord, if this is your will, let it be. But if this is a trap, reveal it to me before it’s too late."

The Vision: Drowning in the Unknown

That night, as Scott slept, he found himself in a terrifying vision.

He was in the middle of a vast, dark river. The waters were cold and merciless, swirling around him, pulling him under. No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn’t stay afloat. He was drowning.

He screamed for help, but the river was empty. No one heard him. No one came.

Then, just as the darkness seemed to consume him, a soft glow appeared in the distance. He turned his head and saw his grandmother kneeling on the shore, praying fervently. Her face was peaceful, but her hands were clenched as though she were in a battle.

Suddenly, from the heavens, a blinding light descended. Angels—majestic and powerful—appeared in the sky. With golden swords and blazing shields, they swooped down, piercing through the darkness.

The Reflection: When God Fights for You

Scott learned a powerful lesson: not every opportunity is from God.

There are battles we don’t see, traps that look like blessings, and dangers that disguise themselves as good fortune. But when we walk in prayer and listen to God, He will protect us—even through dreams and visions.

How many times do we rush into decisions without asking God? How many times do we ignore the warnings because something looks good on the surface?

Scott’s story is a reminder that prayer is not just a ritual—it is a shield.

---

One of the angels extended a hand to Scott.

"Come with us," the angel commanded.

Without hesitation, Scott grabbed the angel’s hand, and in an instant, he was lifted out of the water. As they flew over the landscape, he saw himself being carried back home—back to his grandmother’s house.

The angel then spoke in a voice that echoed through his soul:

“Quit the plan. Give up.”

And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the vision ended.

A Divine Warning

Scott woke up with his heart pounding. The words of the angel rang in his ears:

"Quit the plan. Give up."

At first, he was confused. What was he supposed to give up? Then it hit him—the house.

He sat up in bed, shaking his head in disbelief. Could it really be that God was warning him? Was this amazing deal actually a trap?

Scott grabbed his phone and stared at the messages from Fang. Everything seemed normal. But then he remembered how he was drowning in the vision, how he was helpless, and how only divine intervention saved him.

That was enough. He made up his mind. He would cancel the transaction.

When he messaged Fang, he expected some pushback. But instead, Fang became aggressive and defensive.

"Why are you backing out?" Fang demanded. "Do you know how many people would kill for this deal?"

Scott felt a chill run down his spine. Why was Fang so desperate?

"Sorry," Scott replied firmly. "I just don’t feel at peace about this. I’m out."

And with that, he blocked Fang and deleted the conversation.

The Final Confirmation

A month later, curiosity got the best of him. He searched for Fang’s Facebook page.

It was gone.

Completely erased—no posts, no profile, nothing.

A deep realization settled in his chest.

It was a scam.

Had he sent the money, he would have lost his entire life savings. But God, in His mercy, had warned him just in time.

Tears welled in his eyes as he knelt beside his bed.

"Lord, I almost walked into disaster. But you fought for me. You showed me the truth before it was too late. Thank you.

Closing Prayer: Pray With Me

"Heavenly Father, I thank You for always fighting my battles—even the ones I cannot see. I ask for wisdom and discernment to recognize the traps of the enemy. May I never be deceived by what looks good but is not from You. Lord, just as You revealed the truth to Scott, reveal to me every hidden danger in my life. Protect me, guide me, and lead me in the path of righteousness. In the name of Jesus, I break every scheme of the enemy against my life. I declare that I will walk in divine protection and wisdom. Amen."

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God of Armies, God of gods, Christ Jesus, be praised forever, you are the greatest spiritual being of all time. Amen.

Protecting Yourself from Stress and Anxiety

Many people experience stress and anxiety due to fear of making wrong decisions. Here are three simple ways to guard your mind and body against stress:

1. Pray and Meditate Daily – Studies show that people who pray and meditate experience lower levels of anxiety and depression.

2. Avoid Rushed Decisions – Take time before making big choices. Stress is often caused by impulsive actions.

3. Listen to Your Body – If you constantly feel exhausted or overwhelmed, your body might be warning you. Slow down and seek peace.

A peaceful mind leads to a healthy body. Trust in God’s guidance, and take care of yourself!

Conclusion

Scott’s story is not just his own—it’s a lesson for all of us.

If God saved him from losing everything, imagine what He can do for you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and listen when God speaks.

Sometimes, the greatest blessings come from the things God tells us to walk away from.
