Greetings to the People of the God of Armies Prayer Community.
In life there are moments when heaven seems late, when the silence of God stretches longer than our strength. But the delay of God is never a denial. In His mystery, He waits. Not because He is absent, but because He is building something deeper than we can see — a victory not of time, but of eternity.
So today, I want you to journey with me through the soul of a woman who wept, waited, and believed — even when her hope was cracked by disappointment. This is the story of Saint Monica, the mother of one of the greatest saints in Church history, Saint Augustine.
📜 The Story: Saint Monica and Her Tears
Monica was born in the 4th century in present-day Algeria. She was a faithful woman married to a pagan man named Patricius. He had a temper, and he mocked her faith. Her son, Augustine, was her greatest sorrow. Despite her deep Christian values, Augustine rebelled. He lived in sin, joined a heretical sect (Manichaeism), and publicly ridiculed Christianity.
For seventeen long years, Monica watched her son drift further from the path of salvation. She prayed, fasted, cried, and walked miles to speak with bishops and priests about her son’s soul.

Some told her to give up. Others told her the case was hopeless.
But she refused.
At one point, she begged a bishop to speak to Augustine. The bishop refused, saying Augustine wasn’t ready. But then he looked at Monica’s face — soaked with tears — and said something that would become immortal:
> “Go, I beg you; it is not possible that the son of so many tears should perish.”
Still, nothing changed. Not for years.
She followed Augustine to Rome. Then to Milan. She grew older. Her hair greyed. Her body tired. But her faith held firm. And then, finally… the moment came.
In Milan, Augustine met Bishop Ambrose — a brilliant teacher and a man of deep faith. God used Ambrose to reach Augustine’s heart. The young man who once mocked the Church began to listen. Then to question. Then to weep.
At age 31, Augustine surrendered to Christ. His conversion was so dramatic, so complete, that he became a priest…

🔥 Reflection: What Does This Teach Us?
God sometimes waits until the last minute not because He enjoys your pain — but because He’s weaving a miracle so large, so deep, that it must outlast time. Saint Monica’s delay brought not just a miracle for herself, but for the Church, for history, for all of us who now read Confessions of Saint Augustine.
The delay taught Monica how to become a spiritual warrior. Her tears became incense. Her pain became prophecy.
There are some things that God will only birth through waiting.
If the miracle came early, Monica wouldn’t have been formed into a saint.
If Augustine converted quickly, he may never have become the theologian he was.
If God answered too soon, the world might have missed a giant.
So I say to you who are waiting:
> “Don’t judge the promise by the silence. Sometimes, God hides the answer to deepen the vessel.”
Your delay might be the fire forging generations of blessing.
then a bishop… then one of the greatest theologians in Christian history. His writings shaped Western theology forever.
And Monica? She died a few months after his baptism. Her mission was complete.
She had waited almost two decades for one answer.
But when it came… it changed the world.

Closing Prayer — with Michael Chikamso
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord God, we come before You with hearts that are often weary from waiting. We lift up every delayed promise, every unanswered cry, every soul praying like Monica — for a son, a spouse, a dream, a destiny.
God of perfect timing, break through at the last minute. Let the doors that were closed swing open. Let the hardened hearts become altars of grace. Let every tear become oil on the fire of Your miracle.
We declare that Your delay is not our destruction. You are forming something eternal in us. Breathe strength into those waiting. Breathe faith into those weeping. Breathe miracles into those who are almost giving up.
O God of Saint Monica, O Redeemer of Saint Augustine — do it again in our lives.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I Trust in You.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
God of Armies, God of gods, Christ Jesus, be praised forever, you are the greatest spiritual being of all time. Amen.
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come, our Lord and God. You are worthy to receive glory, honor, and power. For you created all things, and by your will, they were given existence and life. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ, the God of armies. You are worthy to take the scroll and to break open its seals. For you were killed, and by your sacrificial death, you purchased people for God from every tribe, language, nation, and race. You made them a kingdom of priests to serve our God, and they shall reign on earth. The Divine Lamb that was slain is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength, honor, glory, and praise to him who sits on the throne, and to the Divine Lamb. Be praise and honor, glory and might, forever and ever. Amen. We honor you, O God. Your power is so great.
🕊️ Final Words from Michael Chikamso: A Call for Endurance in Waiting
If you are reading this, know this deeply: God is not late. He is intentional. The clock of heaven does not tick like ours, but when it strikes, it breaks every barrier.
Hold your faith like Saint Monica. Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop sowing tears. One day, you will look back and understand why the wait had to happen.
You are not being ignored — you are being trusted.
And to everyone waiting for healing, for marriage, for freedom, for restoration: your miracle will not be denied. God’s last minute is still on time.
Since you have stayed with me to the very end of this sacred writing,
you made a sacrifice of time.
You have joined yourself to a mystery that heaven values — the mystery of endurance.
And the Lord, who watched Monica pray across seventeen silent years,
has seen your quiet faith as well.
The Spirit of God — who rewards those who seek Him in quietness and in faith — will now rise in your situation.
I speak not as a mere writer,
but as a servant of the One who turned a stubborn son into a saint,
and tears into a testimony.
> Your pain will turn to praise.
Your confusion will meet divine clarity.
Your debt will become your testimony.
And your story will become a scroll of victory.
> Your delay is not death.
Your prayers are not powerless.
And your hope is not in vain.
Expect an extraordinary occurrence that surpasses all known human understanding.
Where you thought it was too late, He shall arise.
Where you expected shame, He shall clothe you with double honor.
In your situation, there shall be a smile now.
In your family, there shall be light.
In your next step, there shall be guidance.
Because the God of the Last Minute… has stepped in.
Be still.
And let Him prove Himself faithful — once again.
For the same God who waited until the last moment to answer Monica
will step into your life in His perfect time.
When others think it’s too late,
He will arise.
When even you begin to question,
He will move.
Because you waited, you shall be remembered.
Because you endured, you shall be elevated.
And just as the name of Monica lives on — not because of her pain,
but because of her persistence —
so shall your story not end in silence, but in glory.

💛 If this message blessed you today, consider sowing into this mission.
Your gift helps us spread God's word, care for the poor, and bring daily light to souls around the world.
Every offering, no matter how small, is a seed of faith — and heaven remembers.
🙏 Give with love. Give with purpose.

🩺 When Waiting Becomes a Weight — How to Care for Your Body During Delays
When answers seem delayed and prayers appear unanswered, stress doesn’t just affect the spirit — it begins to speak through the body.
Just like Saint Monica waited many years for the transformation of her son, Augustine, many people today are also waiting: for healing, for financial relief, for family restoration. But while the soul hopes, the body often suffers silently.
Long-term waiting can lead to:
🧠 Emotional exhaustion (anxiety, irritability, brain fog)
💔 Heart strain (elevated blood pressure, heart palpitations)
😴 Poor sleep (from overthinking or restlessness)
🍽️ Unhealthy habits (overeating, under-eating, or neglect)
✅ What You Can Do During Your Waiting Season:
1. Eat Foods that Lift Mood Naturally
Leafy greens (spinach), nuts, bananas, and oats are high in magnesium and B-vitamins — nutrients that calm your nerves and boost brain function.
Add fruits like pineapple and oranges rich in vitamin C to reduce stress-related inflammation.
2. Create a Daily Movement Ritual
Gentle stretches in the morning, walking in the sun, or dancing to praise music helps release dopamine — the "reward" hormone. This refreshes the nervous system without exhausting you.
3. Drink Healing Waters
Dehydration worsens stress and fatigue. Start your morning with a cup of warm water and a verse from the Psalms — this blends hydration with spiritual alignment.
4. Fast Social Media, Feed Your Soul
In stressful seasons, constant comparison worsens emotional pain. Replace one hour of scrolling with silent prayer or health journaling.
5. Herbal Helpers for the Anxious Soul
Teas like chamomile, lemon balm, or African lemongrass can support calmness. Always ask a medical advisor if on medication.
💡 Health Encouragement from GOA Community Health Team:
> "God may delay the miracle, but He never delays His care. Even while you wait, your body deserves attention. Treat it like the vessel of glory it is. Sleep well. Breathe deeply. Eat wisely. And above all — do not let waiting weaken your health."
Remember: You may be waiting on God, but your healing can begin now — through rest, discipline, and faith-led living. A healthy body becomes a throne where God's last-minute miracles can land.
Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late: The Silent Danger of Colon and Cervical Cancer
There are health dangers that do not knock. They do not come with pain, fever, or drama. Yet they grow quietly — stealing strength, joy, and even life from those who delay attention.

Among the deadliest of these are Colon Cancer and Cervical Cancer — diseases that often hide until it’s nearly too late.
Just like how God can step in at the last moment to rescue a soul, early detection and awareness are the only ways to stop these silent destroyers before they go too far.
📌 CERVICAL CANCER: A Tragedy Women Can Prevent
This cancer develops in the cervix — the lower part of a woman’s womb. In most cases, it begins from a virus called HPV (Human Papillomavirus) — a common virus spread through sexual contact.
🔺 Who is at risk?
Women who’ve had multiple sexual partners.
Women who have never been screened (Pap smear).
Women with weak immune systems.
🔍 Symptoms (Often ignored until advanced stages):
Unusual vaginal bleeding (especially after sex or between periods).
Foul-smelling discharge.
Pelvic pain.
✅ Prevention & Early Rescue:
Pap Smear Test: Women between 21–65 should do regular cervical screening.
HPV Vaccine: Safe and effective when given early (usually before age 26).
Avoid Smoking: Smoking increases the risk.
Faith + Action: Praying is powerful — but routine checkups are wisdom.

Conclusion
Early detection is not fear — it is faith in action. Colon and cervical cancers are silent, but they are not unbeatable. Protecting yourself through screening, healthy choices, and faith-led decisions is a gift to your own life and to your loved ones.
🩺 Go for screening when due.
🍎 Eat more fiber-rich and natural foods.
🚶 Stay physically active and avoid harmful habits.
🕊️ Combine medical wisdom with prayer.
🧠 Pay attention to your body’s warning signs.
Let’s fight the silent killers — with faith, knowledge, and action.

📌 COLON CANCER: A Hidden Threat in Both Men and Women
Colon cancer affects the large intestine and is often discovered too late, especially in communities where people avoid medical tests.
🔺 Who is at risk?
Anyone over age 45.
People with family history of colon cancer.
Diets low in fiber, high in red meat, and low physical activity.
🔍 Warning Signs:
Changes in bowel movement (constipation or diarrhea lasting over 2 weeks).
Blood in stool.
Sudden weight loss or fatigue.
✅ Prevention & Early Rescue:
Colonoscopy Screening from age 45 (or earlier if there's family history).
Eat foods rich in fiber: vegetables, fruits, whole grains.
Avoid processed meats and stay physically active.
Do not ignore changes in your body — God gives signs; we must pay attention.
🕊️ FINAL NOTE:
The message is simple: God can rescue us from anything — but we must not ignore what He has given us for prevention. Medicine is not lack of faith. In fact, it is often God’s tool for extending life. Encourage every man, woman, and young adult in your community to take screening seriously. Share this message, save a life.
Let this be your call today: Don’t wait until it’s too late.
